Lithium-ion BRU truck

We are now using electric forklift trucks to transport our products in our warehouses.

We've moved from LPG gas powered fork lift trucks to 45 lithium ion and 24 lead acid battery trucks across the company. The move creates a 65% reduction in CO2 versus the previous fleet - that's 306,778kg less CO2!

Not only are the shiny new trucks more economical, they also have more technology including industry-leading safety features.

And with IRN-BRU branding, they look pretty cool too.

Pictured below is Laura Scouler, Senior Buyer with the business, who helped make the contract with  Jungheinrich a reality. We don't often name-check our procurement team, but with more and more emphasis on sustainable purchasing, we thought Laura deserved a mention.
